Some Facey-face Stuff

I don't wear things like foundation, blush, bronzer, contour, highlighter, concealer, etc. because I can't stand the feeling of heavy products on my face. However, I really do like these two products.
The BB powder is very light and has SPF20. I have always liked Physicians Formula's face products.
Seriously, I have been wearing this brand since I was 14 years old.
The highlighter is from The Body Shop. I like this when I have a special event or my face needs a little perking up. Neither of them clog my pores.
Overall, I would highly recommend both.
If you want to give either brands a shot, here are their websites!

Some Lipstick Queen lovin'

Let me talk to you about this amazing brand.
So I was introduced to Lipstick Queen when I began my journey to Cruelty-Free Land.
These are a little bit pricier than I would normally go for ($22-$24 a pop), but I bought all 3 of these in a pack called "Chic in 3 Shades" on sale for $29. It was an awesome day.
From left to right: Saint Pink, Medieval, Butterfly Ball Sigh.
They are all buildable with sheer to moderate coverage, making them all perfect daytime lipsticks.
Lipstick Queen is cruelty-free and claims to be vegan friendly, but some of their products do contain beeswax. Considering beeswax is an animal product, vegans proceed with caution.
The Butterfly Ball line is made without beeswax, but Medieval and lipsticks in the Saint line contain beeswax.
Never be afraid to contact a company and ask what their animals testing policies are, and f their products contain certain ingredients.
Anyways, if you want to hop on the Lipstick Queen train, head on over to http://www.lipstickqueen.com/.

For the love of NYX

My first official post is all about my love for the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams.
Seriously, I can't get enough of them.
I currently have 6 out of the 22 shades.
From left to right: Ibiza, Prague, Amsterdam, Monte Carlo, and Copenhagen.
I was only able to swatch 5 of them because I "misplaced" one (Sorry Transylvania. I promise I'll clean my room and find you soon).
All of them are gorgeous shades with a nice, matte finish.
My personal favorite is Copenhagen.
They were all $6.00 at http://www.nyxcosmetics.com/.
I'm a big NYX fan. All of their products are cruelty-free, PETA certified, and not too pricey.
Couldn't get any better than that.

First Post!

First post on my first blog! Woohoo!

I made this blog because I am very passionate about the humane treatment of animals, and have been exclusively using cruelty-free products for a while.
As a make-up lover, I want to show people how easy it is to switch to cruelty-free cosmetics.
I'm going to talk a lot about products that I like to use and companies that have committed to being cruelty-free.
It is completely up to you if you decide to incorporate cruelty-free products into your life. I would never try to guilt or shame anyone into making the jump. This blog is just a way for me to share what I know, and to show off what I love.
I hope you enjoy this!
